♕ Make Up Look ~ Bow Liner ♕{Requested}

Today's look is very, very special, because it was requested by a lovely friend of mine from the US, Ally. She's such a supportive and caring girl, extremely badass and fierce; she has a thing for bows - it's her signature, so to speak - and, one day, she DMed me on Instagram asking me if I could do a black & purple look with a bow included somewhere.

I was SO thrilled - both because I love when someone requests a look and also because it would be quite a challenging makeup to make. So, of course, I replied I would happily do it and, after some brainstorming, I came up with this bow look!

♕ Rainbow Eyeliner ♕{100 Days of Make Up ~ Day 75}

I've always wanted to try rainbow eyeliner - love how it looks, so bright and colorful - and I finally had the chance during the 100 Days of Make Up Challenge. It was really fun - but find all the right shades was quite challenging, to be honest XD I literally had to dig into my pigments stash, trying to find something I could use for red, yellow and orange. The other colours weren't such a big deal, I have tons of blues and greens and purple - but it the end I manage to put together the legendary rainbow eyeliner XD

♕ Starry Night Sky ♕{100 Days of Make Up ~ Day 68}

Today's look was part of 100 Days of Make Up Challenge and it's probably the most liked between all the one hundred looks I made back then. Which still surprise me a bit, because is such a simple look I made in, like, less than 20 minutes... With just a handful of eyeshadows and a glittery pigment that added a very glowing touch to the whole look - and probably is the main reason of its great appreciation. 

♕ 100 Days of Make Up ♕ Day 8 ~ Mermaid Vibes (Again!) ♕

Altro look in perfetto stile sirena, più intenso del precedente ma ugualmente veloce e semplicissimo da realizzare. Anche qui ho combinato due colori che amo, verde acqua e viola, dando però maggior risalto al primo e lasciando piuttosto delicata la sfumatura viola, poiché desideravo che il verde fosse il  vero protagonista del look.

Day 8 of 100 Days of Make Up Challenge! 

One more mermaid look, this time more vibrant (see here the previous one) but still really easy and quick to make. I used again one of my favourite colour combination (aqua green and purple), keeping the purple soft and enhancing the aqua green - as I wanted it to be the focus of the look.

Il look di oggi gioca sui toni dell'oro e del viola e, per questo, non ho potuto fare a meno di chiamarlo "Golden Violet" come la nostra violetta dorata aka GoldenVi0let ♥  (Più ci penso e più mi sembra il nome perfetto *_*)

Si tratta di uno di quei look che non passano inosservati, grazie alla combinazione di colori, che può apparire elaborato ma che in realtà non lo è. Ho usato pochi colori (due principali più una manciata per dettagli/sfumature) e l'ho realizzato in pochissimo tempo ;D

Day 6 of 100 Days of Make Up Challenge!

Purple and gold shades for today's look - which I couldn't help but name after the dearest GoldenVi0let ♥ (The more I think of it, the more I found this name appropriate *_*)

This make up features an eye-catchy colour combination and might appear elaborate but it is not, really. I used just a few eyeshadows (two main colour plus a couple for details/blending)  and I made really quickly ;D

♕ 100 Days of Make Up ♕ Day 5 ~ Princess Odette Inspired Look 2.0 ♕

Giorno 5 della 100 Days of Makeup challenge!

Questo look è un remake del make up dedicato alla Principessa Odette (la mia principessa NON Disney preferita!) che avevo realizzato circa due anni fa e che potete trovare qui. 
Già a quei tempi il look mi piaceva, tuttavia non ero soddisfatta della coda di eyeliner "alata" che sembrava più ad "arricciaspiccia" XD

Così ho deciso di riprovare a distanza di due anni e... Sono estremamente soddisfatta del risultato. È esattamente ciò che avevo in mente allora, un eyeliner "dolce... come un cigno" (cit. Derek) con tre code di lunghezza crescente e curve. Mi piace chiamarlo "swan eyeliner" :D

In questo look debuttano anche le nuove ciglia finte che uso attualmente e che adoro! *_*

Day 3 of 100 Days of Make Up! 

Here's a remake of a look I made two years ago (ish) dedicated to Princess Odette from Swan Princess... Who happens to be my very favourite NON Disney Princess. 
You can find the old version here - I liked it but I wasn't very satisfied with the eyeliner. It was supposed to be graceful, swan-style... But honestly it looked more dinglehopper-style XD

That's why I decided to do a remake after two years and... I'm SO proud and happy with the result! This is exactly what I had in mind, something... like a swan :D With three wings, curved and decreasing. That's why a like to call it "swan eyeliner"!

Also, this is the debut look of my new false lashes, which I totally looove *___* 

♕ Paciugopedia 3.0 ♕ Episode 8 ♕ {100 Days of Make Up ~ Day 31}

Paciugopedia tiiiiiiiiiime :D E siamo arrivate all'ottavo episodio della Paciugopedia ideata da Svampi!, ma quanto va veloce il tempo? Di questo passo l'ultimo episodio arriverà troppo presto ç_ç
È anche un salto temporale nella rubrica 100 Days of Make Up, che attualmente sul blog è arrivato a malapena al giorno 4 mentre questo che state vedendo è il giorno 31 XD

♕ 100 Days of Make Up ♕ Day 4 ~ Sapphire Blue ♕

Giorno 4 della 100 Days of Makeup challenge!

Tentativo poco riuscito di "reverse eyeliner", cioè una linea più intensa nella palpebra inferiore rispetto a quella superiore, con la coda esterna piuttosto bassa. Circa.

Il reverse eyeliner non mi è riuscito, però confesso che questo stile mi piace parecchio! Il blu che caratterizza questo look - risultato dalla sovrapposizione di glitterini blu elettrico su un ombretto intenso di base - è veramente spettacolare *_*

Day 4 of 100 Days of Make Up! 

I tried the reverse eyeliner technique - basically a thinner line on the upper lashline, bigger on the lower, with a lower wing. Ish.

Well, I failed at it... But I enjoyed the result anyway! *_* This look features a bright blue (a mix of blue glitter and a blue eyeshadow) that is beyond gorgeous *_*

♕ 100 Days of Make Up ♕ Days 1 to 10 ♕

Chi mi segue su Instagram saprà che ad inizio mese ho cominciato la 100 Days of Make Up Challenge (ideata da Mykie di Glam&Gore), che consiste nel realizzare un make up diverso ogni giorno per 100 giorni. Una challenge ambiziosa ed impegnativa, ma a me piacciono le sfide u.u

Non sapevo bene come trasportare questa challenge sul blog, perché... Okay postare un look al giorno su Instagram, ma abbinarci un articolo per il blog giornalmente è fuori dalla mia portata XD (A meno di non limitarmi a postare le foto, ma sarebbero post troppo minimal per i miei gusti).

Così ho deciso di fare un post riassuntivo ogni dieci giorni, dove vi mostro altrettanti make up (ovviamente realizzati in quel lasso di tempo) - sia per tenervi aggiornate anche qui sull'andazzo della challenge ma anche per fare una sorta di selezione, vedere quali sono i vostri preferiti, quelli che vi piacciono di più e di cui vorreste un post dedicato ♥

Tra l'altro sono drammaticamente in ritardo con questo primo post, me lo trascino da giorni (ahimè, tempo tiranno!) e nel frattempo su Instagram sono arrivata già al giorno 18 XD Per adesso godetevi questo riassunto dei look dal giorno 1 al giorno 10!

If you follow me on my Instagram, then you'll already know that I started the 100 Days of Make Up Challenge at the beginning of the month - challenge created by Mykie from Glam&Gore, which consist on doing one make up everyday for 100 days. A really ambitious and challenging project, but I like this kind of stuff u.u

Thing is, I didn't know exactly how to introduce this challenge on the blog too... I mean, okay, I can post a look everyday on Instagram, I can deal with it. But a daily blog post is a little too much for me XD (Unless posting just the pictures with a short description, but must say, that would be a little too minimalist for my taste). 

So I decided to go for a recap post every 10 days, in which I'll show you those looks I made during those ten days - both to keep you updated and to collect you feedback, see which ones you like and prefer the most, in order to do a selection for future blog posts ♥

I'm also quite late with this first post, I had to delay it again and again (I need more free time!) and meanwhile I reached day 18 on Instagram - meaning that episode two with day 11 to day 20 should come up soon XD For now, enjoy days 1 to 10! 

♕ Sunday Make Up ♕ Crystal Angel ♕

Il look che vado a presentarvi oggi è nato grazie ad una richiesta della mia amica Belle: siamo in periodo di Carnevale, lei si veste da angelo e mi ha chiesto se potevo consigliarle un look adatto all'occasione... E così ho realizzato un make up ad hoc, che fosse etereo, delicato ma allo stesso tempo brillante e luminoso... Come un angelo! ;D

The look I'm going to show you was requested by a lovely friend of my, Belle: it's Carnival time, she's going to dress up as an angel, so she asked me if I could suggest a look fit for an angel... Sp I made an angel make up just for her :d Something ethereal, angelic, soft but still bright and shiny... Like an angel ;D

♕ Paciugopedia 3.0 ♕ Episode 5 ♕

Come ogni primo del mese arriva puntualissimo il nuovo episodio della Paciugopedia ideata da Svampi! Il trucco designato per questo mese è un look semplice ma intenso, incentrato sui toni del marrone, caldi ed opachi, con un piccolissimo punto luce dorato all'angolo interno.

♕ The Mermaid Series ♕ Princess Ariel ♕ {2016 Edition}

Ciao Principesse!

Il post di oggi è molto, molto speciale! Prima di tutto, oggi debutta la mia nuovissima rubrica (di cui vi avevo accennato nel post precedente ma di cui non vi avevo rivelato nome e dettagli): si chiama "The Mermaid Series" e sarà interamente dedicata ai miei trucchi ispirati alle sirene (principalmente di film, cartoni e compagnia bella, ma non escludo di infilarci qualcosa di inedito). Mi sono accorta che ne realizzo tantissimi, di questi look, perciò mi son detta che era il caso di creare una rubrica tutta per loro ;D

Secondo... Oggi è il mio compleanno, yeeeah! :D Aspettavo questo giorno per far debuttare questa rubrica, sapete? Volevo inaugurarle in un giorno speciale... E cosa c'è di meglio del proprio compleanno? :D

La primissima sirena protagonista di questa nuova rubrica è: La Sirenetta aka la Principessa Ariel! *__* Sconvolgente ed inaspettato, lo so XDDD Ma c'è un motivo per cui ho scelto (di nuovo) lei, fidatevi e continuate a leggere ;D


Today's post is really really special: first of all, it is the debut day of my new section, "The Mermaid Series" which will feature all mermaid inspired looks! I realized I do so many mermaid looks, really frequently, so I thought to create a themed section to gather all of them ;D

Second... Today is my birthday, yeeeah :D I waited this day to launch this new section, you know? I wanted it to debut on a special day so... What's better than my own birthday??

And the very first mermaid featured is... The Little Mermaid aka Princess Ariel! Groundbreaking, I know XDDD But, there's a reason, trust me, just keep reading ;D

♕ Sunday Make Up ♕ Inside Out ♕

Martedì scorso sono riuscita ad andare a vedere Inside Out, il nuovo film Disney Pixar (che in altri paesi del mondo era già uscito mesi fa ma che qui in Italia è uscito da meno di due settimane). Quel giorno non ho avuto dubbi: dovevo creare un look apposito per l'occasione *_*

Perciò ecco qui il mio Inside Out Inspired Make Up, composto da cinque colori - uno per ogni emozione :D

Last Tuesday I finally had the chance to see Inside Out, the new Disney Pixar movie - here in Italy was released just a few days ago - so I had to wear an inspired make up for that occasion *___*

Il make up che vado a mostrarvi oggi l'ho realizzato più di una settimana fa (se mi seguite su Instagram e Tsu l'avrete già visto lì e perciò vi risulterà sicuramente molto familiare XD) e se n'è rimasto buono buono nelle bozze fino ad oggi; si tratta di un make up semplicissimo, molto delicato, econ un tocco di verde acqua che aggiunge colore e freschezza. Non ero sicura di farlo approdare sul blog, perché è davvero un look elementare, ma vi era piaciuto tanto su Instagram perciò eccolo qua XD

Continuano i miei esperimenti fotografici con la luce naturale, interrotti durante la settimana a causa di un malefico (e dannifico) raffreddore che mi ha impedito di truccarmi decentemente per svariati giorni. Solo ieri sono riuscita, finalmente, a realizzare un nuovo make up e fortunatamente l'ho potuto fotografare senza flash - che sono ben determinata ad abbandonare definitivamente u.ù

Il make up in questione è molto semplice, tutto incentrato sui toni del teal e del verde chiaro - ovvero i miei colori tiramisù :p

Come annunciato ieri su Instagram, finalmente riparte la mia amata rubrica Olympian Gods Inspired Make Up che era ferma da Ottobre (ben sei mesi ç_ç). Per chi fosse nuova e non conoscesse questa mia rubrichetta, ve la ri-presento: in questa serie di post realizzo dei make up ispirandomi di volta in volta ad una divinità greca, raccontandovene la storia e inserendo i miti più famosi, più dei riferimenti ad eventuali versioni disneyiane.

Visto che l'ultima divinità trattata che ho trattato era un dio, Zeus, ho deciso di ripartire con una dea, e la mia scelta è caduta su Atena, una delle mie dee preferite *.*

Oggi vi propongo un altro look invernale, molto semplice, che ho realizzato a fine Dicembre ma che solo adesso ho modo di pubblicare! (Leggi: credevo di essermi persa le foto e invece no XD)

L'ho chiamato "Winter Wonderland" un po' per via della canzone natalizia che sentivo in loop in quei giorni post-Natale e un po' perché mi fa pensare, coi suoi colori, ad un paesaggio invernale tipo un lago di montagna circondato da boschi spruzzati di neve *_*

Come intuirete dal titolo, questo è il look che ho realizzato la sera di Capodanno - quindi sono in ritardo di un mese 'soltanto'... Che dire, meglio tardi che mai! ^^"
