♕ Rainbow Eyeliner ♕{100 Days of Make Up ~ Day 75}

I've always wanted to try rainbow eyeliner - love how it looks, so bright and colorful - and I finally had the chance during the 100 Days of Make Up Challenge. It was really fun - but find all the right shades was quite challenging, to be honest XD I literally had to dig into my pigments stash, trying to find something I could use for red, yellow and orange. The other colours weren't such a big deal, I have tons of blues and greens and purple - but it the end I manage to put together the legendary rainbow eyeliner XD

♕ Starry Night Sky ♕{100 Days of Make Up ~ Day 68}

Today's look was part of 100 Days of Make Up Challenge and it's probably the most liked between all the one hundred looks I made back then. Which still surprise me a bit, because is such a simple look I made in, like, less than 20 minutes... With just a handful of eyeshadows and a glittery pigment that added a very glowing touch to the whole look - and probably is the main reason of its great appreciation. 

♕ Halloween 2016 ♕ Mermaid Look ♕

I've just realized that Halloween is right around the corner - and I haven't posted any of the related looks I planned yet! D: And I have, like, 4 makeup I put aside to celebrate Halloween - plus one more unreleased on my Instagram yet. And now I have less than one week left. Greeeeat.

Okay, enough with this rant. Let's start this small Halloween series!
As I said, I made some of these looks during the past months - and then saved them for Halloween. Must say, I'm not into creepy, bloody and scary looks - I'm really sensitive, even though I know it's just fake blood and wax I get scared by SFX looks XD So, sorry in advance if my makeup looks might result a little too "quiet" for Halloween XD

I made today's look during the 100 Days of Make Up challenge back on May, inspired by an amazing mermaid makeup by lucinda212 on Instagram (check her out, she's beyond skilled and talented!). 

♕ Jewel Eyeliner ♕{100 Days of Make Up ~ Day 33}

During the 100 Days of Make Up Challenge I learnt to experiment and play with makeup like I never did in the past. I tried different techniques and styles - sometimes succeeding, sometimes failing. I also learnt to improvise, even on those days when I had zero idea and inspiration. The makeup look I'm going to show you today was born on one of those days... And turned out pretty cool! I used crystals to create a jewel eyeliner - hence the title!

♕ Peacock Eyes ♕{100 Days of Make Up ~ Day 29}

Today I'm going to start posting again some of the make up I created for the 100 Days of Make Up Challenge - I knew I said I wanted to write a blog post for each one, but I soon realized that it was pretty much a mission impossible. For two reasons: first, the huge amount of time needed to post one hundred different looks; second, I keep doing new looks almost every day or so - meaning that if I focus only on this "old" series I'd leave behind the newer ones. And so on.

I came to the conclusion that I needed to catch up quickly - so I did a massive selection, keeping just an handful of looks to post here. I really hope to go through them in a couple of months at most. 

Let's get started with today's look - as you can tell, inspired by a peacock feather!

Il look di oggi è nato in una di quelle giornate super-frenetiche ma, nonostante il poco tempo a disposizione, sono riuscita a realizzare qualcosa di un pochino più elaborato e dai colori vivaci. È il primo tentativo di - come lo chiamo io - cut crease curvo a mezzaluna, tecnica che sono riuscita recentemente a padroneggiare ma che in quel periodo (circa tre mesi fa) non mi risultava ancora facile da realizzare. 

Day 13 of 100 Days of Make Up Challenge! 

Another look created on a very busy day - this time a little more elaborate with bright colours. It's actually my first attempt to do the "half moon cut crease" - I recently mastered the technique but, back on those days almost three months ago, I still struggled with it quite a bit.

♕ Paciugopedia 3.0 ♕ Episode 10 ♕{100 Days of Make Up ~ Day 92}

Ciao Principesse!

Siamo arrivate al decimo - nonché terzultimo - episodio della Paciugopedia ideata da Svampi! Anche stavolta facciamo un salto temporale nella rubrica 100 Days of Make Up, che attualmente sul blog è arrivata al giorno 12 (lentezza ne abbiamo?) ma che su Instagram, proprio con questo look, è arrivata al giorno 92... Insomma, entrambe le iniziative stanno per concludersi, sigh!

Questo mese arrivo un filino in ritardo rispetto al mio solito, a mia difesa posso dire che sono stata distratta dall'arrivo della Naked 3 - su cui non vedevo l'ora di mettere le pinne da secoli *_* In questo la tempistica è stata eccellente, devo dire, perché la bellissima palette di Urban Decay mi è stata utilissima in questo makeup, se non addirittura fondamentale!
Ma non è il solo prodotto a debuttare sul blog oggi: per questo makeup ho usato anche i miei quattro nuovi pennelli MAC che già amo e di cui intendo parlavi prestissimo! *_*

♕ Sunset on the Ocean ♕{100 Days of Make Up ~ Day 12}

Giorno 12 della 100 Days of Makeup challenge!

Ho realizzato il look che vado a proporvi oggi ispirandomi ad un makeup di LandOfMakeUp (la trovate su Instagram): mi sono innamorata della combinazione di colori brillanti e vivaci da un lato, cupi ed intensi dall'altro. La mia non è e non vuole essere una replica esatta dell'originale, badate bene, purtroppo non avevo tutti i colori necessari e dopotutto questa non è una puntata della Paciugopedia XD 

Day 12 of 100 Days of Make Up Challenge! 

Today's look was inspired a makeup I found on LandOfMakeUp page on Instagram: I suddenly fell in love with the colours used. A perfect combination of both bright, glowing shade and darker, deeper colours. 
Mind you, this is my personal interpretation of this look: I didn't want it to be a perfect replica of the original. Both because I don't own all the shades needed and also because this is not a Paciugopedia episode XD

Il look che vi propongo oggi è ad oggi uno dei miei preferiti tra quelli realizzati fin'adesso per questa challenge dei cento giorni. Nonostante sia semplice da realizzare, e pure veloce, risulta elegante e sofisticato - i cui colori mi fanno pensare più che mai alla coda di una sirena. Come spesso accade su questi lidi, è un total look Nabla Cosmetics a livello di ombretti - immagino che la cosa non vi sorprenda, anzi, è ordinaria amministrazione!

Day 11 of 100 Days of Make Up Challenge! 

Today's look is one of my favourite from the 100 Days of Make Up challenge by far. It's so easy and quick to make, yet sophisticated and elegant. Those colours make me think of a mermaid's tail, also, which is so good! As usual, it's a total look Nabla Cosmetics (at least, when it comes to eyeshadows).

Altro salto temporale nei 100 Days of Make Up fino al giorno 63 (ops!), stavolta per un motivo ben preciso: desideravo presentarvi questo look che ho realizzato coi nuovi prodotti NABLA Cosmetics e non mi andava di aspettare che arrivasse il suo turno!

Sì, i nuovi prodotti sono blush, illuminanti e bronzers. E sì, io ho deciso di provarli anche come ombretti - qualcosa mi diceva che si sarebbero dimostrati all'altezza della sfida... E non mi hanno delusa!

Flash forward to day 63 of 100 Days of Make Up! Why? Simply: I'm eager to show you this particular look, which I made by using the newest NABLA Cosmetics' products... I just didn't feel like waiting is turn!

I know, these new products are blushes, highlighters and bronzers. Yep. But I decided to use them as eyeshadows - I thought they might work, and must say, they didn't disappoint me!

Nono episodio della Paciugopedia ideata da Svampi (mancano solo tre episodi alla fine ç_ç), episodio che attendevo praticamente sin dal primo giorno: questo è il look che più mi piace dell'intera selezione di questa terza edizione (quasi ex-equo col n° 12 in verità!), ergo non vedevo l'ora che arrivasse questo giorno *_*

Altro salto temporale nella rubrica 100 Days of Make Up, che attualmente sul blog è arrivato al giorno 10 (che lumaca sono!) ma che su Instagram, con questo look, è arrivata al giorno 62. Se riuscirò a trasportarli tutti qui entro capodanno sarà un miracolo XD

♕ 100 Days of Make Up ♕ Day 10 ~ Mimesis Aka Wolf, He Solves Problems: Episode 3 ♕

Chi di voi ricorda la rubrichetta "Mimesis aka Wolf: He Solves Problems"?
L'avevo ideata per celebrare l'estrema versatilità di Mimesis, un ombretto Nabla color prugna che, per quanto mi riguarda, si adatta benissimo ad ogni trucco... Al punto da risolvere problemi, da cui la giocosa associazione con Mr. Wolfe.

Non avevo più avuto modo di proseguire con la rubrica ma ecco una terza, inaspettata puntata. Il trucco che vado a mostrarvi stava naufragando peggio del Titanic- causa ribellione di un pigmento minerale - ma lui ha aiutato a renderlo quantomento presentabile. 

Day 10 of 100 Days of Make Up Challenge! 

I created the "Mimesis aka Wolf: He Solves Problems" series last year, in honor of one eyeshadow: Mimesis by Nabla Cosmetics. A deep purple shade, so versatile it can be used in every make up... It really solves problem, like Mr. Wolf. 

No new episode since last year unfortunately... But here's episode three, quite unexpectedly. 
This look at first was quite a failure - thanks to a rebellious mineral eyeshadow - but Mimesis helped me to save what I can. 

♕ 100 Days of Make Up ♕ Day 9 ~ Blue & Gold Graphic Look ♕

Non so esattamente cosa mi frullasse nella testa il giorno in cui ho realizzato questo look: sicuramente desideravo sperimentare un po' con forme e colori, lasciandomi trasportare dall'ispirazione. Il risultato è un look grafico con colori a contrasto, meno complicato di quanto possa sembrare. Resta ancora adesso uno dei miei preferiti che abbia fatto finora ♥__♥ (E su Instagram sono arrivata al 55 giorno di challenge, sono leggermente indietro qui sul blog!) 

Day 9 of 100 Days of Make Up Challenge! 

I don't know what I was thinking when I created this look: probably, that day I felt like experimenting and playing with colours and shapes. Sometimes I just sit at my vanity table and create a look simply following my instinct. This is what I ended up doing: a quite graphic makeup, less complicate than it looks. It's still one of my favourite makeup looks I've made so far - please note that I'm already at day 55 on Instagram, I'm way behind here! 

♕ 100 Days of Make Up ♕ Day 8 ~ Mermaid Vibes (Again!) ♕

Altro look in perfetto stile sirena, più intenso del precedente ma ugualmente veloce e semplicissimo da realizzare. Anche qui ho combinato due colori che amo, verde acqua e viola, dando però maggior risalto al primo e lasciando piuttosto delicata la sfumatura viola, poiché desideravo che il verde fosse il  vero protagonista del look.

One more mermaid look, this time more vibrant (see here the previous one) but still really easy and quick to make. I used again one of my favourite colour combination (aqua green and purple), keeping the purple soft and enhancing the aqua green - as I wanted it to be the focus of the look. 

♕ 100 Days of Make Up ♕ Day 7 ~ Elsa Inspired Look ♕

Per il sesto giorno di challenge ho deciso di realizzare un look che mi frullava in testa da un po': un make up ispirato ad Elsa di Frozen. In passato ne avevo realizzato uno in collaborazione con la mia splendida socia Foffy (qui trovate il mio post) ma era un'interpretazione personale, dai toni algidi e glaciali (molto in tono col vestito). Stavolta ho deciso di ricreare quello che lei indossa nel film!

Day 7 of 100 Days of Make Up Challenge!

I've always wanted to recreate Elsa's make up from the movie. I've already made an Elsa inspired look a couple of years ago (time really flies!) but it was more a personal interpretation - it featured really cold, frozen shades (that matched a lot her dress). This time I wanted to stick to her movie makeup look!

♕ 100 Days of Make Up ♕ Day 6 ~ Golden Violet ♕

Il look di oggi gioca sui toni dell'oro e del viola e, per questo, non ho potuto fare a meno di chiamarlo "Golden Violet" come la nostra violetta dorata aka GoldenVi0let ♥  (Più ci penso e più mi sembra il nome perfetto *_*)

Si tratta di uno di quei look che non passano inosservati, grazie alla combinazione di colori, che può apparire elaborato ma che in realtà non lo è. Ho usato pochi colori (due principali più una manciata per dettagli/sfumature) e l'ho realizzato in pochissimo tempo ;D

Day 6 of 100 Days of Make Up Challenge!

Purple and gold shades for today's look - which I couldn't help but name after the dearest GoldenVi0let ♥ (The more I think of it, the more I found this name appropriate *_*)

This make up features an eye-catchy colour combination and might appear elaborate but it is not, really. I used just a few eyeshadows (two main colour plus a couple for details/blending)  and I made really quickly ;D

♕ 100 Days of Make Up ♕ Day 5 ~ Princess Odette Inspired Look 2.0 ♕

Giorno 5 della 100 Days of Makeup challenge!

Questo look è un remake del make up dedicato alla Principessa Odette (la mia principessa NON Disney preferita!) che avevo realizzato circa due anni fa e che potete trovare qui. 
Già a quei tempi il look mi piaceva, tuttavia non ero soddisfatta della coda di eyeliner "alata" che sembrava più ad "arricciaspiccia" XD

Così ho deciso di riprovare a distanza di due anni e... Sono estremamente soddisfatta del risultato. È esattamente ciò che avevo in mente allora, un eyeliner "dolce... come un cigno" (cit. Derek) con tre code di lunghezza crescente e curve. Mi piace chiamarlo "swan eyeliner" :D

In questo look debuttano anche le nuove ciglia finte che uso attualmente e che adoro! *_*

Day 3 of 100 Days of Make Up! 

Here's a remake of a look I made two years ago (ish) dedicated to Princess Odette from Swan Princess... Who happens to be my very favourite NON Disney Princess. 
You can find the old version here - I liked it but I wasn't very satisfied with the eyeliner. It was supposed to be graceful, swan-style... But honestly it looked more dinglehopper-style XD

That's why I decided to do a remake after two years and... I'm SO proud and happy with the result! This is exactly what I had in mind, something... like a swan :D With three wings, curved and decreasing. That's why a like to call it "swan eyeliner"!

Also, this is the debut look of my new false lashes, which I totally looove *___* 

♕ 100 Days of Make Up ♕ Day 4 ~ Sapphire Blue ♕

Giorno 4 della 100 Days of Makeup challenge!

Tentativo poco riuscito di "reverse eyeliner", cioè una linea più intensa nella palpebra inferiore rispetto a quella superiore, con la coda esterna piuttosto bassa. Circa.

Il reverse eyeliner non mi è riuscito, però confesso che questo stile mi piace parecchio! Il blu che caratterizza questo look - risultato dalla sovrapposizione di glitterini blu elettrico su un ombretto intenso di base - è veramente spettacolare *_*

Day 4 of 100 Days of Make Up! 

I tried the reverse eyeliner technique - basically a thinner line on the upper lashline, bigger on the lower, with a lower wing. Ish.

Well, I failed at it... But I enjoyed the result anyway! *_* This look features a bright blue (a mix of blue glitter and a blue eyeshadow) that is beyond gorgeous *_*

♕ 100 Days of Make Up ♕ Day 3 ~ Submarine Reflection ♕

Giorno 3 della 100 Days of Makeup challenge!

Nato in una di quelle giornate all'insegna della sperimentazione (e si vede XD), questo look presenta per la milionesima volta una delle mie combo cromatiche preferite (verde acqua + teal), che mi ritrovo ad usare quasi puntualmente quando si tratta di fare esperimenti.

Per il titolo si ringrazia ancora una volta Mario, che come sempre tira fuori nomi ed associazioni stupende e calzanti ♥ (Per chi fosse arrugginito col mondo di Sailor Moon, "Submarine Reflection" è uno degli attacchi di Sailor Neptune!)

Day 3 of 100 Days of Make Up! 

You probably can tell I was feeling like experimenting that day XD This look features, once again, one of my favourite colour combinations (aqua + teal), which I tend to use very often when it comes to experiment.

♕ 100 Days of Make Up ♕ Day 2 ~ Spring/Mermaid Vibes! ♕

Ciao Principesse!

Nel post precedente vi avevo parlato della 100 Days of Make Up Challenge che ho deciso di intraprendere da quasi un mese su Instagram (challenge che sostanzialmente si può riassumere così: un make up al giorno per 100 giorni consecutivi) e di come avessi intenzione di pubblicare un post riassuntivo che racchiudesse man mano 10 look diversi corrispondenti ad altrettanti giorni. Ciò doveva avere la funzione di tenervi da un lato aggiornate anche qui (soprattutto a beneficio di coloro che non possiedono un account Instagram) ma soprattutto come sondaggio, per vedere quali look vi piacessero di più e fare quindi una selezione per decidere quali pubblicare.

Tuttavia, questo mio brillante (credici) piano aveva diverse falle che non hanno tardato a presentarsi. In primis, la questione selezione: da un lato mi sono resa conto che non c'erano dei preferiti che spiccassero in maniera preponderante sugli altri, dall'altra che alcune non riuscivano a scegliere tra i look proposti. In secondo luogo, che a me personalmente sarebbe dispiaciuto lasciar fuori questo o quel look. Infine, mi è stato fatto notare che sarebbe stato un peccato non pubblicarli tutti - dato ho impiegato tempo, energie e prodotti - e che, viceversa, pubblicarli tutti sarebbe stato utile per averne una visione d'insieme.

L'unica mia remora, come dicevo nel post precedente era... L'impegno non indifferente nel pubblicare ad un ritmo incalzante, perché di certo non posso pubblicarne uno o due soltanto a settimana, dato che saranno un centinaio alla fine. Credo di aver trovato il giusto compromesso: gli articoli relativi a questi look saranno più sintetici e schematici, ma neanche ridotti all'osso (composti cioè da sole foto ed elenco prodotti). Ho trascorso la settimana passata a prepararne alcuni in anticipo (motivo per cui non sono riuscita a pubblicare altro) e quindi da oggi si parte, non mi resta che incrociare le pinne e sperare che la mia idea stavolta funzioni XD 

Siete pronte ad un'overdose di makeup? Perché vi avviso, saranno post quasi giornalieri ;D

In my previous post I introduced the 100 Days of Make Up Challenge which I started at the beginning of the month on Instagram (long story short, this challenge consist on doing a make up for 100 days consecutively) and how I decided to post a recap every 10 days, showing you the looks I made during that lapse of time. Both to keep you update (especially those of you who aren't on Instagram) and also as a poll, to ask you which one(s) you like the most and, by doing this, decide which one to post here. 

However, this brilliant (yes sure) plan of mine had some flaws and I realized that almost immediate. First of all, the selection thing: I noticed that there weren't some predominant favourites, and also some of you couldn't pick up just a couple of favourites. Second, I realized I didn't feel like keeping out this or that makeup. Lastly, some friends pointed out that it would be a shame not to post them all - since I spend time, energies and even products on this project - and that, viceversa, would be great to have them all here as an overview. 

I was a bit hesitant though because... As I said in the previous post, it's a considerable commitment since it means to post quite a lot - I can't post just one or two of them per week, they're going to be one hundred. But I think I found a solution: the post about these looks are going to be simpler and shorter but not cut down to the bone (meaning consisting just of pictures and products list). I spent the last week preparing some of them in advance (that's why I was unable to post anything) and so here we are, today I start this project here! Fins crossed, hope it'll work this time XD

Are you ready for a makeup overdose? I warn you, these post are going to be almost daily XD
