♕ Make Up Look ~ Life is the Bubbles! ♕

Instagram is the biggest resource to discover new styles, techniques, trends. I love trying them, both to challenge myself and improve my skills.
Today's look features the bubble/circles 'technique', were circles are usually obtained by using straws or pen caps. I used the latter, two different pen caps for the bigger circles, but I preferred to hand-draw the smaller one and the dots... Way easier that search the house for smaller caps XDDD I want to try this technique again, I want to try and hand-draw all the circles - both smaller and bigger ones. I mean, if I could draw the smallest ones I might able to draw the bigger ones too! (Challenge with myself accepted XD)

♕ Spring 2017 Most Played ♕

Today's is summer solstice aka summer is officially here! Although it has already been feeling like summer since the end of May XD The beach season has begun - or, in my case, the mermaid season... But today I'm going to look back on this past spring - as it's time to wrap up the Spring Most Played and see what I've used the most during these past three months!

♕ Make Up Look ~ Summer Cut Crease ♕

Sorry for the lack of posts in the past few days - last week was pretty crazy and busy, plus I experienced a nasty skin irritation that forced me to stop wearing makeup for some days. Although my eyes weren't affected (thankfully!) I avoided eye makeup too, just in case - you know, better safe than sorry. Add this to a busy week... And there goes my blogging schedule ^^"

Anyway. A new, more relaxed week just started, my skin is back to normal (thankfully, part two XD) - so here I am, writing a new blog post for you all.
Today's look is very special: I made it as part of a group collaboration with a bunch of lovely artists on Instagram; the theme was "a summery ombré cut crease look" and each of us chose a colour (of course I immediately claimed my beloved mermaid green shades XD) for our looks. It was so much fun and I am very happy with my look - mostly because I managed to use all my favourite products, hehe. 

♕ Make Up Look ~ Empty Liner ♕

Let's get back on track with makeup looks - I'm a little behind, whoops! Need to catch up, one way or another.
In today's post I'm going to show you another look featuring my eyeliner addiction/craziness XD I can't help, whenever I see a new eyeliner style I feel the urge to try it!

I saw this kind of "empty eyeliner" (as I named it) in a look by @thepryncess - and I thought I'd give it a try, although I ended up slightly changing the shape and adding some details. 

♕ Make Up Look ~ Floating Liner ♕

I'm all about Instagram trends lately - in case you haven't noticed already XD After the helix liner and the crown makeup I decided to try the floating/invisible liner style launched by @staceymariemua.
There are quite a few different versions of this liner (all created by her), the one I chose is my favourite so far - but I'll probably try one of the others too in the future ;D It's such a fun technique and you know I love to challenge myself!
Here's my very own version! ♥

♕ Make Up Look ~ Underwater Treasure ♕{Inspired by Roberta ~ @robertavixen}

I'm really proud of the look that I'm going to show you today - I really love the way it turned out, plus it was a big success and received tons of love on my Instagram. It reminded me of a lost treasure at the bottom of the ocean (thus the name) but several people gave different interpretations - from a "royal blue goddess" to a "Beauty and the Beast" look. It was pretty exciting actually :D

The graphic eyeliner style was inspired by a @robertavixen's looks (check her out, she's so skilled!), where she included this particular wing style - and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to try it! Of course, I had to use Klimt eyeliner - not only because it is my current makeup obsession, but also because it's simply the best for any kind graphic line/shape. My regular black liner (aka a black pigment used wet) could do that - but is more troublesome, so to speak, and more time consuming. 

♕ The Mermaid Series ~ Mermaid Crown Princess Make Up ♕

Today's look features an Instagram trend: the Princess/Crown/Tiara makeup look! First created by Marissa Melhron, this look spread across Instagram instantaneously - starting the trend. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to give it a try *___* But I had to wait until I found the original creator - so I could give her all the due credits... This took me a while because seems like no one credited her in the first place. Which is sad and unfair: please always credit the creators whenever you get inspired by a look/ideas/whatever. It's a sign of respect towards the artist and his/her work!

And now, without further ado, here's my attempt at this royal make up!

♕ Make Up Look ♕ Fashion Addict ♕

Today's look features the only Makeup Geek Cosmetics' eyeshadow I hadn't tried yet - Fashion Addict, a beautiful matte orchid purple *_* It instantaneously caught my attention while I was first browsing Beauty Bay site, it's a unique shade in my stash as of now. I love it so much already - thus I named this makeup look after it ♥

♕ Part of My World ♕ Nabla Cosmetics ~ Dazzle Liner in Klimt ♕

Today I'm going to talk about a product that I've been using and loving so, so much lately. I used it in almost each and every makeup look I created during the last two months... Please give a round of applause to the Dazzle Liner in Klimt by NABLA Cosmetics - aka my current makeup obsession.

(It usually takes me a long time to write a review. I need to test everything in both summer AND winter time, because my skin changes depending on the temperatures - and so do my needs. But, since this is a limited edition product, by the time I'll be ready to write a full review, it will be most likely gone... But this product really deserves a dedicated post. So I had to find a compromise, and that's where the Part of my World series comes in. I created this series two years, and it's intended to gather all my first impressions regarding a product/collection/etc. I haven't been "using" it in a while actually, but I blew the dust off it recently and I realized it still works for first impressions/preliminary reviews like this one.) 

So without further ado, let's get started! 

"Klimt is a red gold eyeliner, lightly duochrome and extremely pigmented.

♕ Helix Eyeliner ♕

I've just realized that I completely forgot to post this look on here o___O" I was SO sure I posted it - like, weeks ago, right after New Year's Day. Where-was-my-head? D:
Well, at least I noticed in time - poor this look, forgotten in the drafts section -   and I'm going to get back on track this very second!

So, in today's post I'm going to show you my very first attempt at the helix eyeliner technique - which is pretty famous on Instagram, I've seen sooo many different styles and finally I decided to give it a try. This was another good occasion to use Klimt - aka the ever-present-lately Dazzle Liner by NABLA Cosmetics aka my current obsession. 

♕ Fairy Queen Make Up #2 ♕{Inspired by a Sergey/Milk1422 Face Chart}

Hey everyone! I'm currently stuck in bed with a very bad cold, unable to complete the Makeup Geek haul post - I'm quite unlucky with that, am I not? - but thankfully I have a special makeup to show you so... Here it is!

Today I'm going to show you another inspired look - to be more precise, inspired by a face chart made by an amazingly skilled artist on Instagram, Sergey aka @Milk1422. Check him out, you won't regret it, he creates the most stunning and artistic face charts ever.
This particular one gave me fairy vibes - so I considered this look like a 2.0 version of my previous Fairy Queen look... Hence the title ;D
