♕ Make Up Look ~ Round Glitter Gradient ♕

Today's look features once again some graphic liner and tons of glitters... Did you missed them? XD
This time I was inspired by beccaboo318 (check her Instagram, she has an unique style!), who did a round shaped, glittery look a while back. I had to keep this makeup on hold for quite some time, because I was missing a proper eyeliner and - most importantly - glitters. You can imagine how eager I was to try it ♥_♥

She used purple and orange glitters/shades but I decided to change that and, of course, I chose blue and green shades. How groundbreaking of me, I know XD

To create my own gradients, I used my three favourite glitters from GlitterTubes (so obsessed ♥): Dory (the prettiest blue ever), Emerald (the name is self-explanatory XD) and Splash (simply mesmerizing). As someone commented on Instagram when I posted the pictures there, the result is very mermaid-y... Although at first it reminded me of a peacock feather haha! ;D

First things first, after priming my lids I created the round shape right away. I used KVD's Tattoo Liner in Trooper to outline the shape, then I filled it in with MAC Cosmetics' Feline eyepencil; to fix the pencil, I used a black pigment. Then I applied all the shadows that would serve as base for the glitters: I used Poolside by MUG on the inner part of the lid, Atmosphere and Babylon by NABLA Cosmetics respectively on the center of the lid and on the outer corner.
On the lower lid I used (just like Rebecca did) only matte shades (all by MUG): Dragonfly on almost all the lid area and Shark Bait on the outer line; I also used Shore Thing as transition shade.

Once I was all done with the eyeshadows I moved to the glitters: I applied Dory over Poolside, Emerald over Atmosphere and Splash over Babylon. I made sure I'd cover the lid evenly, and "blend" the glitters in order to achieve a gradient as smooth as possible. I also made sure to leave some room for the eyeliner (I don't apply Trooper over the glitters, as I'm always afraid the glitters could clog the tip). When I was done and happy with the glitters application, I added the eyeliner - basically drawing a classical line, that simply doesn't wing out in a conventional way, so to speak XD I used the black pigment to smooth the transition between Trooper and the round black area.
At this point the look was pretty much finished, I just had to add the final touches: Antique White on my brow bone, Atom on my inner corner, lashes and mascara. (You see this lashes? They're the Wispies by Ardell, my very favourite right now! They're a-m-a-z-i-n-g, affordable and good quality. What else?).
