Second look using my new Sugarpill eyeshadows (I talked about them in this post)! After the previous one - tropical and summery - I decided to make a deeper look using different shades. As you can probably tell by the title, I was inspired by pansies - the black, purple and yellow ones, which are one of my favourite flowers in terms of colours *_*
The colour scheme is pretty basic - as I said, black, purple and yellow - so to spice the look up I decided to apply the glitters in a different pattern, so to speak. I usually apply them on my inner corner, or on my lids - but this time I decided to apply it on my outer corner, instead of the more classical blending... I thought I could be a nice twist, and I think it worked nicely :D
The Sugarpill eyeshadows I chose are 2AM, an amazing shade of purple, and Buttercupcake aka the bright yellow (which I've also used in my previous look). Since I don't own Bulletproof (Sugarpill's black eyeshadow) I used my usual black shadow from NABLA ^^"
Let's see how I made it - let me tell you, it was a very short process XD

Let's see how I made it - let me tell you, it was a very short process XD
After priming my lids I started right away with the main lid shade: I used 2AM eyeshadow by Sugarpill all over my upper lids, blending it upwards into the crease and outwards on the outer corner. To add depth and intensify the purple, I used Nocturne eyeshadow my NABLA Cosmetics, which I applied mostly on my outer corner but also close to the upper lashline.
On my lower lid I applied 2AM over a black eyepencil, then I defined the lower lashline using Nocturne again.
To frame this purple I used a pastel lavender as transition shade - more precisely, I used Frostine by Sugarpill Cosmetics and blended it all over the crease area, outer corner and lower lid. I don't use non-matte shadows as transition shades quite often, but Frostine is barely frosted so it can be used for this specific purpose too.
On my inner corner I applied Buttercupcake (I'm enjoying this matte yellow shade more than I expected XD) - this time I didn't alter its finish by overlaying a shimmer shadow like I did in the previous look, and I leave it pure and matte as it is *-*

Before moving on to the final steps I had to take care of the glitters - so first of all I applied my foundation (for those of you who're wondering, I always do my eyes first and my base once I'm done), then I applied my brow bone shade (Antique White by NABLA).
So my idea was to use the glitter to create a sort of blending, thus they had to be quite packed right on my outer corner and then fade away outwards. To do so, I applied a layer of fine pressed glitters (Chewee by GlitterTubes) all over the outer area; then I applied Aretha glitters by Glitter Palace right over this first layer, packing them and creating a shape that reminded a V shaped-blending (like the ones I usually do).
Once I was done (it didn't really take much time) I added the final touches: black eyepencil on the waterline, falsies (which are actually two pairs piled up, they wouldn't show up in the pictures otherwise XD) and mascara.
