♕ Sunday Make Up ♕ Ocean Sparkles ♕

Ciao Principesse!

I'm a bit late this week, pardonne moi :p I had quite a busy weekend so I ended up not being able to complete this post on time for Sunday, as it was supposed to be. But luckily I had some spare time this morning so I had the chance to post it - still late, but not that much XD

I made the look I'm going to show today on one of those I-have-no-ispiration days: you know, those days when you have no - or just confused - idead and you don't know where to start doing you make up... When you just sit down and start playing around, totally unaware of what the final result will look like. Thanksfully, that's not a totally bad thing for me: sometimes the result is not pretty, but usually I end up doing unexpected and surprising, somthing I didn't planned but still I love.
So, I created this look with no particular inspiration, not expecting too much from it. Yet, I LOVE it to the infinity and beyond *___*

Mi lascio guidare dall'istinto, come quel giorno.

On those no-ideas days I usually choose (randomly sometimes) one or two eyeshodws and I just start doing my make up using those two colours, acting on instinct and without thinking too much. The two lucky selected colours were Atmosphere and Eternity (both by Nabla Cosmetics), a combo I think I've never tried before *uhm*

Being slightly obsessed with a lighter spot on the center of the lid, I decided to place Atmosphere there - surrounding it softly with Eternity: I wanted something bright but not harsh, with soft and gentle blendings. So. First of all I applied a touch of silver eyepencil on the center of the lid (as a base), to make Atmosphere pop out even more. On the rest of the lid I just used my eye primer.

Then I started by pressing Atmosphere on the silver base on the center of the lid, then blending it out all around; I applied Eternity on the rest of the lid, into the crease and on the outer corner, blending it gently into a V shape - noticeable but still not harsh. Same procedure on the lower lid.
To soften and improve the gradient I used Babylon, a deep teal, between the aqua green and the blue and I blended it carefully. In order to intensify the outer corner I applied just an hint of a deep blue pigment.
I applied  Narciso into my crease as my transition colour (our relationship could be reassumed with " I'd never thought I'd ended up loving you so much!"), while on my browbone I applied Antique White. aka the omnipresent.

As always, I complete my look by applying a black eyepencil on bot lower and upper lashline (tightlining power!), then the I-can't-live-without false lashes (as usual, I'm wearing the natural ones by Kiko Cosmetics). my beloved mascara aka Le Film Noir and, last but not least, I designed my eyebrows with the mighty Spiked by MAC.

As I said before, I love this look sooo much *___* So bright, so shiny, but still soft. To me, it resembled the sea, calm and flat, that sparkles when sunlight hits the waves. That's why I named it "Ocean Sparkles" :D
