Torna la rubrica dell'ombretto della settimana! *_* Vi era mancata? :3 A me sì, ma d'inverno è più complicato fare le foto per via del maltempo, e in genere quando c'era il sole io ero sempre fuori casa. Fortunata eh? XD

Comunque, eccoci qua! Proverò a riprendere il ritmo settimanale, anche se le condizioni climatiche non promettono niente di buono ç_ç 

Per quanto riguarda il Make Up of the Week, riprenderò anche quella rubrica ma usando anche ombretti che non sono necessariamente protagonisti dell'Eyeshadow of the Week. 

Vi avviso che ci saranno due intrusi in questo post: la torta di compleanno mia e della mia amica Tallulah e dei ringraziamenti di cuore per le mie 300 Principesse *-* Quindi questo sarà un post moooolto lungo, siete avvisate u.u

Cominciamo! L'ombretto che ho scelto questa settimana è uno dei più usati del 2013 - nonchè uno dei miei preferitissimi... Pixie Tears di Neve Cosmetics!

Lo so, lo so, vi aspettavate il makeup della settimana con l'ombretto n° 107 di Jade Minerals. Purtroppo ho avuto dei problemi tecnici (leggi: le foto scattate non sono venute bene), quindi dovrò rifarlo da zero.
Perdonate il ritardo di alcuni makeup, penso proprio che ne vedrete due o tre nell'arco di pochi giorni :D
Così oggi ho pensato di parlarvi dell'ombretto della settimana: Liquid Mirror di Neve Cosmetics, parte della collezione Immaginaria.

I know, I know, you expected to read the post about the make up of the week starring Jade Minerals Multi Use Colour n° 107. Unfortunately I had technical problems (the pictures I took are not good), so I'll have to do it again.
Forgive me for the late of some makeups, I think you're going to see like two/three of them all together in a couple of days :D

Io sono ko, tra ciclo, esami da preparare, maltempo e la temperatura che è crollata di colpo X_X Sia chiaro, io sono una fan dell'inverno e del freddo, ma gli sbalzi termici mi scombussolano @.@

Per fortuna tempo fa, approfittando di una bella giornata di sole, ho fatto un po' di swatches in previsione delle giornate di brutto tempo. Meno male perchè oggi è nuvolosissimo e io ci tengo a farvi vedere l'ombretto della settimana!

I'm ko, as I'm on my period, have to study for the exams, the weather is so bad and the temperature's cold all of a sudden X_X You know, I love winter time and coldness, but temperature leaps make me feel so bad @.@

Luckly some weeks ago I prepared a couple of swatches, thanks to a nice sunny morning, with a view to the upcoming bad weather. Thanks to this, I'm now able to write the Eyeshadow of the Week article, even if today's cloudy.

I'm sorry for being absent in these past days, but I had some issues with my Internet connection :( I have some post to write, first of all the last week's Make Up of the Week I know you're wainting for. In order not to mess up with my weekly post planning, I decided to write as usual this week's Eyeshadow of the Week post, and then write about the Make Up of the (last) Week in the next days. I really apologise for this mess and late :(

I'm currently working on a new template for my blog, I got some difficulties as I never worked on Blogger's htlm codes, which seems a little more complicate then forum's html codes. I hope I could use the new template as soon as possible, because I'm already loving it!

Cominciamo con la nostra rubrica! Questa settimana ho deciso di mostrarvi un ombretto Neve Cosmetics: Sang Bleu!

Let's start with our weekly section. This week I decided to show you a Neve Cosmetics' eyeshadow: Sang Bleu!

Il sito Neve Cosmetics lo definisce un "duochrome con base violacea ed aristocratici riflessi color blu Francia acceso. Finish ricco e vellutato."

Neve Cosmetics site defines it as a "violet based duochrome with bright blue sparkles. Rich and velvety finish".

Ingredienti/Ingredients: Mica (C.I. 77019), Titanium Dioxide (C.I. 77891), Iron Oxide (C.I. 77491), Ferric Ferrocyanide (C.I. 77510), Iron Oxide (C.I. 77499), Tin Oxide (C.I. 77861).

Prima di tutto, sappiate che io adoro il blu e tutte le sue tonalità (e no, non lo dico perchè mia mamma e il mio ragazzo sono due patiti del blu XD), perciò non potevo lasciarmi scappare questo colore, e l'ho chiesto come campioncino omaggio in un ordine passato. Effettivamente, come nel caso della Biomatita Zaffiro, anche questo prodotto non è propriammente blu, bensì è un viola bluastro con dei bei riflessi blu. Perciò non aspettatevelo blu al 100%, ma è comunque un colore molto molto bello che uso spesso!

First of all, you need to know that I love blue and all its shades (and nope, I'm not saying this because my mother and my boyfriend are two blue lovers XD), so I really wanted it and I asked to get it as a free sample in a past purchase. Actually, as the Biomatita in Zaffiro, this product it's not purely blue, but a dark bluish purple with gorgeous blue sparkles (yet it as a satin finish). So do not expect it to be 100% blue, but in any case it's a really beautiful colour and I use it very often!

Guardiamo gli swatches. Come potete vedere, da asciutto si vede chiaramente che è viola; se usato bagnato e/o col primer, invece, diventa più blu e i riflessi si amplificano. Io lo uso sempre col primer e talvolta con una base blu di sotto proprio per renderlo il più blu possibile! La pigmentazione è buona (anche se non è il top), si stende facilmente e non è polveroso.

Now let's look at the swatches. As you can see, when dry you can really tell it's purple; but if used wet and/or with a primer, it becames blue and it enhances its bluish reflections. I always use it with a primer and sometimes with a blue base, in order to make it as blue as possible XD The pigmentation is good (yet not the top), it's easy to apply and not dusty.

Mentre facevo lo swatch, mi sono resa conto che assomiglia allo 030 di Jade Minerals. Non proprio un dupe, ma il colore è simile. Così ho deciso di swatcharvelo velocemente accanto a Sang Bleu, nella speranza che possa esservi utile!
Lo 030 è più blu, ben pigmentato già da asciutto, e ha anche lui dei riflessi blu. Era il dupe di Galassia, sempre di Neve Cosmetics, se lo ricordate.

While I was doing the swatch, I realized that it resembles Jade Mineral's eyeshadow in 030. Not a perfect dupe, but the two shades are similar. So I decided to swatch it too next to Sang Bleu, hoping that this could be useful to you!
JM 030 is more bluish, with a good pigmentation when still dry, and with bluish sparkles too. It was Galassia's dupe, a discontinued Neve Cosmetics' eyeshadow, if you can recall it.

Pros: It's a really particular shade with beautiful sparkles, gorgeous when wet, easy to apply and blend, not dusty.

Cons: Basically nothing: the pigmentation when dry it' not excellent, but I don't think it's a really big con, as when it's used with a primer it get better and better.

Do I Recommend It?: Yep, if you like purple/blue colours, you'll definitely like it!

Eccoci alla primissima puntata della rubrica "Eyeshadow of the Week"! Come vi avevo anticipato qui, in questa rubrica vi parlerò di un ombretto a settimana e a seguire pubblicherò un make up realizzato con l'ombretto della settimana (creando una seconda rubrica, ovvero "Make Up of the Week"!).

Ho anche deciso di iniziare a scrivere i post sia in italiano che in inglese. Più per esercizio che per altro, dato che non ho molte possibilità di tenermi in allenamento.

This is the very first episode of my new section "Eyeshadow of the Week"! In this section I'll talk about a specific eyeshadow a week, and then I'll post a make up made using the eyeshadow of the week (creating a second section called "Make Up of the Week").

I decided to start writing my post both in Italian and English. Basically for practise, as I don't have any chances to keep in practise.

Bando alle ciance, cominciamo. Inauguro la rubrica con uno dei colori che più mi piace (capirete perchè ahahah), ovvero lo 043 di Jade Minerals.

No more chatting, let's start. I decided to inaugurate the section with one of the colours I like most (you'll understand why hahah), that is Jade Mineral Multi Use Colour in 043.

Il sito Jade Minerals lo definisce come un "beautiful light green shimmer" ovvero un "bellissimo verde chiaro shimmer". Io lo definirei "color pinne di sirena" - sì, sono fissata con le sirene XD

Jade Minerals' Site defines it as a "beautiful light green shimmer", but I'd define it as a "mermaid's fins shade" - yep, I'm definitely obsessed with mermaids XD


Ingredienti/Ingredients: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Tin Dioxide, Iron Oxides.

(Il prodotto mi è stato inviato gratuitamente dall'azienda l'anno scorso, ci tenevo a precisarlo. This product was sent to me by the compagny last year.)

Questo colore mi ha colpito fin da subito per la sua brillantezza e per la tonalità. Non è nè verde nè azzurro, ma una via di mezzo tra i due, un perfetto verde acqua; è pieno di bellissimi riflessi argentati, non è molto polveroso ed è abbastanza pigmentato già da asciutto. Io comunque uso sempre il primer (e consiglio sempre di utilizzare il primer, soprattutto con gli ombretti minerali) ed ovviamente colore, durata e resa si amplificano. La jar è fornita di rotating sifter che facilita il dosaggio e soprattutto evita che il colore se ne vada in giro per la jar se la portate in borsa o in valigia.

Qui sotto vi postato degli swatches (cliccate sull'immagine per ingrandirla, perchè è enorme). Al solito, l'ho swatchato in vari modi (asciutto, bagnato, con primer) e con varie luci (diretta del sole, naturale e flash).
Come sempre, il primer è quello BeYu e il prodotto usato per bagnarli è la Nebbia Fissante.

I liked this colour from the first moment because of it's brilliance and particular shade. It's neither green nor light blue, it's in between them, a perfect aquamarine. It has beautiful silver sparkles, it's not dusty and it has a good pigmentation on it's own. Anyway I always use a primer (and I always suggest to use it, especially when using mineral eyeshadows) and of course it enhance the colour and makes it last longer and better.
The jar has the rotating sifter, which makes easier to dose it and, above all, prevent the eyeshadow to go all around the jar if you bring it with you in your bag or in your suitcase.

Below I posted some swatches (click on the image to enlarge it, because it's huge). As usual, I swatched it in different ways (from left to right: dry,wet, with primer) and with different lights (from up to down: direct sunlight, natural light, flash). As usual, the primer I used is the BeYu Eye Base; the product I used to wet the eyeshadow is Neve Cosmetics Nebbia Fissante.
