Here's my first look I've done using the new Freedomination collection by NABLA Cosmetics! I'm glad I finally get to show you some of the eyeshadows in action, and also get to tell you my first impressions!
I'm still working on part 2 of my collection overview - part 1 is here. I was supposed to spend yesterday's morning doing swatches and taking pics, but it rained. It poured down like crazy, so I couldn't shot one single picture -.-' Mind you, I love rain, just not when I need to take pictures for blogging reasons! ^^"
Anyway, back to today's makeup. The eyeshadows featured in here are Virgin Island, Blue Velvet, New Heaven. Special guests are Obsexed, used as inner corner highlighter, and the two new Dazzle Liners - Purity and Crystal.

I couldn't help but to a mermaish look first: a lot of the eyeshadows give mermaid vibes, and I'm not the only one who noticed that! I can't help but feeling like this collection is a sort of extension of last year's collection, the Mermaid. After all... There's nothing more representative of freedom than mermaids!
The main lid shade is Virgin Island, the beautiful Celestial eyeshadow of this collection. It's a bright, intense turquoise filled with tons of violet, lilac and blue pearls - extremely sparkly. This is the most pigmented out of the Celestial range, to the point I mistook it for a Bright or even a SuperBright!
The crease shade is Blue Velvet in all its glory. We needed a matte blue shade into NABLA's range - and this one is gorgeous. Deep, intense blue, wonderfully pigmented and so easy to blend - just like all the other matte shade from Freedomination, because they all feature the Super-matte texture.
Like New Heaven, which I used to blend Blue Velvet and add some colour at the same time. This might be my new favourite shadow from NABLA (sorry Atmosphere!): a bright aquamarine shade, so pigmented that looks almost unreal *__*
I also used both Purity and Crystal to create a two-toned kind of ombrè liner (above the black winged line). I couldn't choose just one, I was so excited to try them (you should know by now how much I love their older brother, Klimt) - so I went for both XD They look so pretty together, don't they? *_*
Crystal is a pale blue with silver sheen (supposedly also gold but it doesn't show on my skin), bright and beautiful. They both have a thinner texture compared to Klimt, but this doesn't affect application nor pigmentation.
Purity is supposed to be a mother-of-pearl shade... To me it's the colour of magic! It may look white, pinkish or bluish depending on the light, angle, and colours around it. Pure magic. In this makeup it appears to be white/bluish - creating a mermazing gradient with Crystal. On other looks I've made, it looks pinkish. I'm in love!

After priming the lids I started off by creating the crease blending first. I used Blue Velvet, starting from the outer corner and moving backwards towards the inner corner. I also applied it on the outer part of the lid, slightly blending it inwards.
I blended the blue shade using New Heaven - not a real transition shade in this case, because I wanted it to be very noticeable. The real transition shade is Shore Thing by Makeup Geek Cosmetics that, despite being a completely different shade, gets along wonderfully with New Heaven.
On the lid I applied Virgin Island - and I just used my fingers, as suggested by Mr. Daniel for the application of the Celestials.
On the lower lid I applied basically the same shades: mainly Blue Velvet, blended with a little bit of New Heaven, blended with Shore Thing. A chain of blendings XD I added a little bit of Virgin Island there too, towards the inner corner.

At this point I applied KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper and created my usual winged line. Once I was that with that I applied the two Dazzle Liners in Purity and Crystal - creating a second, thin line with a gradient-like effect. I applied Purity from the inner corner to the middle, from there I applied Crystal till the end of the lower wing.
I've now realised I forgot the inner corner highlighter, so I applied Obsexed as such on there (that's the highlighter - so not an eyeshadow - of this collection!).
I defined my lower lashline using Nocturne, and applied Antique White on my brow bone (as always!)
As an additional twist, I applied GlitterTubes' pressed glitters in Splash on the lower lid, to add come extra sparkles!
Final touches: black eyepencil on waterlines, false lashes and mascara (a new one! MAC Cosmetics Extended Play Gigablack Lash mascara: it's waterproof but very comfortable to wear, it's extra black and it has a thin wand that allows easier application!)
