Sorry for the lack of posts in the past few days - last week was pretty crazy and busy, plus I experienced a nasty skin irritation that forced me to stop wearing makeup for some days. Although my eyes weren't affected (thankfully!) I avoided eye makeup too, just in case - you know, better safe than sorry. Add this to a busy week... And there goes my blogging schedule ^^"
Anyway. A new, more relaxed week just started, my skin is back to normal (thankfully, part two XD) - so here I am, writing a new blog post for you all.
Today's look is very special: I made it as part of a group collaboration with a bunch of lovely artists on Instagram; the theme was "a summery ombré cut crease look" and each of us chose a colour (of course I immediately claimed my beloved mermaid green shades XD) for our looks. It was so much fun and I am very happy with my look - mostly because I managed to use all my favourite products, hehe.

To be more precise, I used my favourite eyeshadows by Makeup Geek Cosmetics (to be honest I'm loving all their shadows - I want moooooore - but those four are my very favourite!); some glitters by GlitterTubes (their glitter are everything); my new eyeliner aka Kat Von D Beauty Trooper liner (holy grail) and a completely random (lol) gold liner aka Klimt by NABLA Cosmetics. In one word: bingo XD
After priming my lid I worked on the ombré crease shade. I used three shadows by MUG: Shore Thing, the palest one, on the inner part of the crease; Dragonfly, the brighter one, in the middle - and Shark Bait, which is the darkest, on the outer area. Not the best ombré probably, I could use a darker teal shade - but I think it worked out nicely anyway.
On the lid I applied a Foiled eyeshadow by MUG, Pegasus, as base colour for the later glitter application. I applied it on and slightly above the crease too - in order to, well, cut the crease XD
As for the glitters, I chose the shade Emerald - it's just perfect for this look! I applied it wherever I applied Pegasus, essentially.

I decided to cut the crease even more dramatically, so I used my beloved and irreplaceable Dazzle Liner in Klimt by NABLA Cosmetics. Then I applied Tatto Liner in Trooper by KVD, tracing a quite classical winged line.
I decided to keep the lower lid glitter-free, so I applied just Dragonfly and a matching eyepencil on the waterline. On the inner corner I used a lovely, pale (and sadly discontinued) aqua pigment; I used Fossil as transition shade to smooth the blending and Antique White on my brow bone as usual (both shadows by NABLA).
I used some new false lashes - Double Up n° 206 by Ardell, which look so good in the pack but once applied... I don't know, they look a little awkward towards the inner corner. (So far my favourite lashes by Ardell are the Wispies. I already bought a second pair and will probably stock them up asap). Of course, I also applied mascara...

... but we're not done yet! I also did a matching lip art for this look :D
I used a teal eyepencil as base, then I applied Shark Bait all over it to both fix the pencil and enhance the shade. I applied a thin layer of lash glue on the centre of the lips and then I pressed the glitters (Emerald again, of course) on the sticky areas. I layered the glitters until I was happy with the application.
Lastly, I used Klimt to draw the details on the cupid bow and the lower lip. I didn't want it to overwhelm the glitters, so I kept the design very simple.
Now we're done XD
