♕ Make Up Look ~ Glittery Ocean Eyes ♕

Now that I've posted my first impressions about GlitterTubes' pressed glitter (here), it's finally time to show you all the looks that I've created so far using these beauties *___* Brace yourself, I already made about ten glitter looks (if you follow me on Instagram then you have already seen most of them!) - so my blog will be overwhelmed by glitters for the next weeks XD

This was the very first look I made using these glitters, a sparkly gradient with graphic eyeliner. The reason why I did a gradient was... Because I couldn't choose just one shade to begin with XD Although I knew what kind of look I wanted to do, I kept changing my mind every two seconds - so the whole process this time took way longer than usual. Way, way longer - I almost lost the natural light for my pics XD
Anyway without any further ado, let's get started!

As I stated, I already had a clear idea of how I wanted this makeup to look like: glitter all over the lids, framed with a graphic line that would follow the upper lash line, wing out and then get back towards the crease in a curved shape. Only I couldn't decide which glitters to use - finally, the eureka moment: why should I had to choose only one particular shade? I could choose two - or, even better, three and do glittery gradient!
This helped me narrowing the choice: I went for a blue look and thus I selected Aquatic, Skinny Dip and Sonic! And it turned out pretty mermaid-y, don't you think so? Gives me ocean vibes - you know, when the water sparkles like a billion of diamonds because of the sunlight ♥____♥

After priming my lids, I started creating the outer, rounded blending - so I applied/blended Neptune eyeshadow by Makeup Geek Cosmetics with a fluffy brush on the crease, diffusing the colour the create the softest blending possibile. I deepened this shade bu adding, right in the crease, Boo Berry eyeshadow by Makeup Geek Cosmetics. On the upper lid I applied an even layer of Poolside eyeshadow by Makeup Geek Cosmetics - that would serve me as a coloured base for the following glitter application; on the lower lid I used Boo Berry again as main shade, and Nocturne eyeshadow by NABLA Cosmetics to define the lashline. On the inner corner I used a Foiled eyeshadow by MUG, Pegasus, as I wanted it something very bright that could get along with the glitters. On the brow bone, as always, I applied Antique White eyeshadow by NABLA Cosmetics.

Time to sparkle! I used no glue of any kind to apply the glitters, I decided to rely on the formula itself - hoping that it would keep the glitters together on my lids too. (And it did! I had to patiently build up the products to achieve a full, rich result - so probably a glitter glue would help, but they do work even without that).
I started off with Aquatic, the lightest one, and I applied it on the inner part of the lid; on the center I applied Skinny Dip - and of course Sonic on the outer area. When moving to the next shade, I would always make sure to gently "blend" them together to achieve the gradient affect.
Having hooded eyes; I knew they would transfer on my crease in a matter of minutes - so, to bypass the problem, I applied all the glitter up to my crease and slightly beyond. On the lower lid I applied just Sonic.

Once I was happy with the glitters I moved on to eyeliner: using (for the second to last time, as **spoiler alert** my Kat Von D eyeliner was already on its way) the usual black pigment mixed with some drops of Fix +, I created the graphic line. I started off with a classical winged liner - done that, I added the curved line that starts from the outer wing and that goes back inwards, following the crease shape (and framing the glitters) to reach the inner corner.
Lastly, I completed the look by adding false lashes, applying mascara and a black eyepencil on the waterline ♥
