Today's look features the only Makeup Geek Cosmetics' eyeshadow I hadn't tried yet - Fashion Addict, a beautiful matte orchid purple *_* It instantaneously caught my attention while I was first browsing Beauty Bay site, it's a unique shade in my stash as of now. I love it so much already - thus I named this makeup look after it ♥

I decided to go for the halo eyes technique this time, instead of the usual gradient. I also decided to place Fashion Addict on the sides, as a matte frame, and to apply a very bright shadow on the centre of the lid - to create a nice contrast. I chose NABLA's eyeshadow in Calypso for this purpose, because it is the most sparkly eyeshadow I own *_*
I started off by applying the usual eyeprimer - Too Faced's Shadow Insurance Original. First of all I applied Fashion Addict all over the lid - avoiding the centre though. I blended it on the outer corner and the crease, giving it a smooth C shade. I wanted it to be a really soft and almost ethereal blending. I did the very same thing on the lower lid.
On the empty parts (aka the centre of both lids) I applied Calypso - basically doing two layers: I applied it dry first; then to add more shine, I added a second layer, this time using Calypso wet (I just sprayed Fix + on the brush a couple of times). Same procedure for the lower lid.
As transition shade I used another MUG shade that stole my heart: Hopscotch, a matte iris colour that is simply stunning wherever you apply it.

On the inner corner I used Sensuelle, one of NABLA's Celestial shadows. On the brow bone, as always (literally), I applied Antique White.
Eyeliner time: I know halo eyes don't require any liner but... You know me, I'm such an eyeliner addicted, I can't live without it XDDD Same procedure as always, I used a black pigment - got it wet with some drops of Fix +. I traced a long line, starting from the inner corner and moving outward, winging it out dramatically. I also drew the point on the inner corner - a small detail I really enjoy!
I also applied two touches of NABLA's Dazzle Liner in Klimt, two thin lines underneath the black eyeliner. I thought it was a cute detail to add preciousness to the look ;D
Lastly, I applied false lashes, mascara, a black eyeshadow on the lower lashline and a black eyepencil on the waterline.

Which finish do you like the most? Matte or shimmer?
I'm definitely a shimmer addicted by I'm really appreciating matte shades lately!
